Photo frame with china pieces as mosaics

This is a gift for my mom. Those are my grandparents-Cmas 1954. The mosaics are what's left of their good china.
I basically (and carefully) broke up to small plates and picked the nicest pieces to apply to a wooden and finished frame, (though I could have sanded and painted it too). I used tacky glue for the application. The grout was leftover from the kitchen project. You add water to dry grout to make an paste (looks like icing). Apply it around the mosaics and that's it. Wipe china clean when the grout dries.
