Hey crafters!
Last month I tiled two of my kitchen backsplashes with mini-glass tiles that are sold on sheets of clear adhesive. It was challenging, but it turned out really pretty (shades of blue and clear with some blues having copper metallic streaks).
I went to Walmart and bought some glass pieces and a clear glass vase-all for about $5.00. I had the clear adhesive from a kit and it was fun to decorate the vase. I went on eBay and bid on mosaics from a few companies. They weren't that expensive either. I'd like to do mosaics for garden accents, but I have to look into waterproof things. I already used mosaics on the roof of a indoor birdhouse.

Have you done anymore mosaics since you wrote this last summer? I was bitten by the mosaic bug in the summer of 2005, and you're right, mosaics is a lot of fun. I did so many projects that I ran out of people to give them to, so I decided to do a few art shows this year. It was great fun, and I look forward to do more next year.
